In 1961 Harold Schafer and the Gold Seal Company found a way to make bubble bath an affordable luxury and move it from department stores to drug stores. Mr. Bubble was born! The original Mr. Bubble formula was developed as a powdered bubble bath that promised to “Bubble kids clean” and leave no bathtub ring. Over time the iconic bubble bath was converted into a liquid formula.
