Beats by Dr. Dre is a brand of headphones produced by Beats Electronics, LLC, a company that produces audio products and equipment founded by hip-hop artist, producer and entrepreneur Andre "Dr. Dre" Young and Interscope-Geffen-A&M Records chairman Jimmy Iovine in 2006. Since its inception, its products have been primarily manufactured and developed in collaboration with consumer electronics company Monster Cable.
